The one thing I don’t seem to understand yet is how the visualization can be done at such high reading speeds… It seems IMPOSSIBLE… I’ve tried to keep my mind as open as possible and its giving me a hellofa headache (literally).

    Any answers?

Think of it as watching a movie. Imagine all the details that you are taking in, and how much writing would be required to capture a tenth of what your seeing. When reading at incredible rates, you can actually have the book “play” a movie in your mind. Personally I have not reached this level, for all of my reading. If I’m not mistaken one time, I actually saw exactly what I was reading and was amazed. I have not gotten that effect since.

I read a lot, and once again, have no idea where this story came from. Basically a child in school who had been trained in speed reading was reading a book about accounts in Hiroshima during WWII. The book visualized inside him and he actually felt sick from the book, and ran out of the room to the bathroom. He had experienced the details so vividly that he felt physically sick.

Keep practicing. Don’t push it though, it will come naturally. Be sure to relax and not be stressed out if the results you are seeking do not show themselves immediately. Thanks again for the comment. ~Ryan
